I step outside the student center building and instantly, my face is smashed with a gush of wind. My eyes are tearing and I'm thinking 'OH NO! MY EYELINER!'--haha, yeaa that's how we Fashionistas think. I wasn't thinking about protecting the important school papers in my hand; how sad is that?
I knew today was going to be windy, so I had a really hard time trying to figure out what to wear. I wanted to wear a dress, but that was obviously a no-no. I was almost late for my math class because I couldn't figure out what to wear. So I just threw on some jeans and a shirt and my jacket which I guess is a windbreaker (yay!). Nevertheless, this got me thinking. What does the Fashion forward person wear on a windy day? Should she just settle for jeans? Or opt for something else? I don't know. What do you think?

a scarf around my hair so it blows in the wind
jeans
a flirty pea coat
and probably a huuuuuuuuge bag. since the small ones seem to fly away.

sometimes i settle for a pair of jeans with a nice top,
but somtimes i freeze to death.

ReplyDeleteI think a dress, unless it's body con, or you want to pull a Marilyn Monroe, is out of the question, but I opt for jeans, with a great sweater or cardigan. Scarf's a good choice as well as someone mentioned above. I just like to feel bundled on cold days.
ReplyDeleteYes it was a windy day today. I almost got knocked over on 7th avenue. So you are gonna go to the Vogue photo exibit? that is cool! I am gonna check it out as well. I am not sure if i am going on Saturday or Sunday though.

ReplyDeleteOn cold windy days, I like to wear anything with a hood, so I can hide my face. I probably look like a walking sleeping bag.
