There isn't much going on in my world Today. Except, I realized that I don't like Shakespeare; I've never liked him, actually. I'm sorry. I know he's this great literary genius, but I honestly don't understand the language and I think the stories are boring and analysing them bores me to a pummel. In 9th grade my English teacher told us that we don't have to like Shakespeare, but we have to respect it. And I respect it, but I sure don't like it!

Thanks
Fashion Ivy for the nomination! I hope everyone's day is much more interesting than mine.

ReplyDeletesparkly tights!!! yay! Im also not a Shakespeare fan, although I do love the story of Romeo and Juliet.
ReplyDeleteHey you
ReplyDeletethank you for defending me and understanding why I was so upset!
On another note, You have the best boots I would kill for a pair like yours I can't find anything that fits my big feet haha. I also love the sparkley leggings but I never thought I could pull them off!
Love the bright bright red dress against the neutrals and the sparkly legwear!
ReplyDeleteOoh congrats on your nomination! I just saw it on FI's blog and thought to myself "hell yes! She so deserves it!"
ReplyDeleteWear it with pride, my friend. :)
Ugh Shakespeare. If you're looking for a non-boring alternative to Othello, watch the movie "O" - same characters, storyline etc but it's modernized. It's like the 1996 Romeo + Juliet except with modern language.

:D
I would kill to be present at your photo shoots!
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit; you work that bright red so well and I love the glittery tights!
ReplyDeleteAnd as for Shakespeare; unless drooling over man-candy, Leonardo DiCaprio in Romeo + Juliet counts, then I guess I'm not a fan either!
love to see these photos that you take of yourself and your various fabulous outfits. they make me smile. love the sparkley tights.
ReplyDeleteGreat jumping action. Those tights would make me jump for joy too.
ReplyDeleteTres adorable! Aw, you don't like Shakespeare? I love him, especially when I found out 10 Things I Hate About You was based on his play The Taming of the Shrew. I just hate analyzing it...it takes the fun out of reading it.
ReplyDeleteI like how you style the red dress/tunic :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I also like your room , it looks like mine, not that tidy and clean, I would call it creative chaos ;)
haha thats funny you say that about shakespeare. i used to think the same until I had an amazing literature teacher who taught romeo and juliet so well & showed us all the symbolism/innuendos of the story. truly understanding the work makes a world of a difference:)
