I recently stumbled upon this Web site: The Uniform Project. One girl, is on a mission to wear one dress for 365 days in efforts to raise awareness and money for the education system in India. She has seven identical dresses and recreates an outfit everyday with layers and accessories. I think this is ingenious! So I ask, could YOU wear the same thing everyday?

P.S. Really cute visual!
I had a uniform once when I was younger and I definitely do need to repeat that project!
ReplyDeleteBut it's cool what she is doing to raise awareness.
It took me forever to find your comment box haha. For the longest time I thought you didn't have a comment section but then you asked that question so I assumed you wanted your readers to answer so I looked one more time and I found it ;) To answer, I don't think I could personally but it looks like a fun project anyways.
ReplyDeleteI wore uniforms during all of my primary and high school years: red t-shirt and blue shorts in kindergarten, during primary school: white t-shirt and blue skirt, then plaid skirt and white blouse and then blue and beige t-shirts with jeans or navy blue trousers or navy blue skirt... I would go back to wearing the plaid skirt with white blouse and the ever so comfy Mary Janes any day, the other things, not so much.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I think what that girl is doing is incredible and there should be more persons as passionate as she is to help those in need
Wow, that is a hard task to set for yourself! I could wear one dress and accessorize it in different ways for just a WEEK but 365 days? I definitely couldn't do it!
ReplyDeletethis is really tough but whoever could do that must be superbly creative and innovative... I could never do it!
ReplyDeleteThe cause is great... But I'm afraid I'd get bored if I had to wear the same thing all the time..
ReplyDeleteThat's quite interesting.
ReplyDeleteI think perhaps a black shift could be accessorized in enough possilbe ways.
Oooh!
ReplyDeleteI just saw the outfits.
They are quite terrific.
Oh my, that is such a cool idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I think I would find it difficult though, as I love wearing new outfits!....

That is such a neat idea!
ReplyDeleteI think I could do it. I like the idea of uniforms.
Thats a very interesting idea. . .I might be able to wear the same thing everything, only if i could accessorize it differently everyday of course. haha
ReplyDeleteCool idea! I hope she's raised lots of money so far. I'd get so terribly depressed if I had such limited options, but then again it is a good chance to really flex your creativity!

The cause is great... But I'm afraid I'd get bored if I had to wear the same thing all the time..
