Goodbye Jeans!

Friday night I ripped my last comfortable pair of jeans. I'm done. I've had enough of wearing jeans. Back in August I told you all about The Problem With Jeans, and many of you seemed to agree that jeans are a rather difficult piece of clothing to find, sport and keep. Yet, they are still an essential in a wardrobe, but like I just said, I'm done. I am giving up jeans. Just like I am tentatively giving up heels and wearing wedges, I'm no longer wearing jeans or buying new pairs. It's nothing but leggings, stockings, pants and whatever jeans I have left--2 pairs to be exact.

Looks like I'll be investing in $30 leggings from American Apparel. This fashion choice shall be interesting. I'll keep you posted.

xoxo

  1. I so recant my statement that I made in your August post. I finally found jeans that are comfy @ Gap Kids. I bought four pairs :)

Then again, I only wear them about
    once a month. I figure they'll last until I'm 20...

  3. ugh i hate jeans too! i rarely wear them. You should invest in some leggings designed for skiing. They're lightweight but super warm; I highly recommend them! :)

  4. ugh, I know your jean pain. I just busted my absolute fave pair (now no longer made, sigh). Have opted for some jeggings (the nice, lightweight denim kind, not the fake denim print ones bahaha) to tide me over until I find another pair

  6. good idea! i am quite fed up with jeans lately as well - mostly because j brand jeans rip after like ten wears.

i really could see myself living in leggings as well. i could do things in those that i cant in jeans, like hop fences, which is useful.
