The other day I stumbled upon Fashion Indie's intern tips. It mentions that you should try and follow the office dress code but still have a little pop of your personality. Now, this got me thinking: what exactly is my workplace's atmosphere? Our office is located on the same floor as Gilt Groupe and I do sometimes feel obligated to dress extra chic, but then again, I'm just me and I guess I should just dress how I want (within reason of course).

If I could pick one way to dress everyday, I would strap of a pair of Giambattista Valli platform heels and trott around in one of his voluminous dresses. If you haven't realized by now, I'm IN LOVE with Giambattista Valli. I dream of being personally styled by him. If I ever met him, I think my heart would stop and then I would ask to try on a dress. What designer do you idolize?

    i love your jumping photos!! i must try that next time. i adore japanese designers like rei kawakubo and junya watanabe of comme des garcons. and jun takahashi of undercover.

    then i also love john galliano. love. and karl lagerfeld. love love.

    i know what you mean about dressing for work! i'm working at pat field's now and everyone's always dressed like they're going to a party and they always look fabulous!

    I really really idolize Alexander Wang! I would LOVE to be his muse, or any designer's actually. But if its alex, awesome! I really like your pictures! The jumpshots are awesome!

    Also way to pull off the wide leg jeans. I have such issues making them work for me.

    You do such a great job with photos of you! Leaping with joy is your forté.

    I really love the work of Miuccia Prada, but I'd have to be a squillionaire to afford to really idolize her.

    It'd be nice if you could show your style within the office dress code. That would show you respect your workplace and yourself. You'll find your way.
